The Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program in Mongolia visited the IAAC

On, March 31, 2023, Mr. Dashdavaa, Commissioner General of the IAAC met with H.E. Ms.Elaine M. Conkievich, UNDP Resident Representative in Mongolia, and briefed detailed information on Anti-corruption measures in Mongolia and exchanged ideas on future cooperation. In doing so, Mr. Dashdavaa, introduced the Draft Law on Protection of Whistleblowers, the Draft Law on Ethics of Public Servants, and the Draft of the Second National Anti-Corruption Strategy, emphasizing the important role of the government in the “5 Stage Anti-Corruption Action Plan". UNDP is working with the IAAC to implement a new initiative to strengthen Mongolia’s anti-corruption reporting mechanisms by leveraging the power of technology and innovation together with the UNDP Seoul Policy Centre and the Republic of Korea's Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.

At the end of the meeting, the parties exchanged views on implementing a joint project in the future to prevent corruption and increase the ethics of civil servants.
