The Australian Federal Police Senior Officer Mr. Rob Harrison, and Liaison Officer Mr. Jeff Kokles visited the IAAC on March 15, 2023. Mr. Baasannyam, Head of the Administration Department received the delegates and briefly introduced the Mongolian Anti-Corruption policy, measures, and National Anti-Corruption Strategy. Mr. Rob Harrison highlighted the importance of effective cooperation in the regional anti-corruption measures, while Mr. Baasannyam agreed and emphasized human capacity building is key to a successful corruption investigation and asset recovery.
At the end of the meeting, the two parties discussed possible cooperation areas and agreed to collaborate on human resource capacity building.
