On March 3, 2023, Mr. Dashdavaa, Commissioner General of the IAAC received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Mongolia Mr. Chai Wenrui.
The meeting was attended by Ms. Shi Zhe, the third secretary of the Embassy, the Directors of the Administration Department, and the Investigation Department of the IAAC. Following the detailed introduction of Mongolian Anti-Corruption policy, measures, and results, H.E. Mr. Chai Wenrui praised the policies and measures implemented by the IAAC, emphasized the importance of anti-corruption activities to ensure sustainable economic development and support investment, and discussed cooperation in the field of creating a sustainable investment environment
Mr. Dashdavaa highlighted China's experience and results in the fight against corruption and expressed interest in expanding cooperation with the counterparts of China, protecting legal investment and a fair business environment, mutually exchanging experience, and corruption investigation. Furthermore, the parties exchanged opinions on improving the professional skills of investigators and paying special attention to mutual legal assistance requests in certain cases under investigation.
In 2014, the IAAC signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Supreme People's Procuratorate of the People's Republic of China to intensify bilateral cooperation. At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Mr. Chai Wenrui expressed his full support for Mongolia's anti-corruption activities and agreed to further develop cooperation in the fight against corruption.
