Officers led by Mr. Azjargal, Deputy Commissioner General of the IAAC received Ms. Annika Wythes, Anti-Corruption Adviser of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, Ms. Valentina Pancieri, Border Management Program Coordinator, and Mr. Lorenzo Piacentini, Associate expert on Transnational Organized Crime. At the meeting, Deputy Commissioner General briefed the representatives with detailed information on the recently announced the Year of Fighting Corruption and the Government’s “Five Stage Anti-Corruption Action plan”.
Furthermore, the delegates discussed possible areas to further develop cooperation and human capacity-building training module for investigators.
