At the invitation of the University of Finance under the Government of the Russian Federation, officials of the Independent Authority against Corruption of Mongolia participated in an international roundtable discussion on "Effective anti-corruption policy as a key factor of transparency of economic activity" organized by the university on March 24.
The event aims to share experiences with experts in various fields of international security and risk prevention in the fight against money laundering, corruption, and organized crime and 23 foreign countries including Mongolia, South Korea, Germany, France, Hungary, and Belgium, Russian more than 200 representatives of law enforcement agencies, large businesses, training, research centers, and educational institutions participated.
Discussions focused on identifying and mitigating potential threats to public and private economic interests from crime and misconduct, assessing and developing sector risks, and cooperating with law enforcement agencies, businesses, and educational institutions.
The University of Finance under the Government of the Russian Federation has proposed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Independent Authority against Corruption of Mongolia and plans to cooperate in organizing joint training and research events on a wide range of economic issues, including economic security and financial investigation.
