Independent authority against corruption and ministry of social welfare and labour cooperate in the field of prevention of corruption

Representatives of Independent Authority Against Corruption held meeting with Ms. A.Ariunzaya, Minister of Social Welfare and Labour. During the meeting, the parties discussed the Integrity Assessment report by the Independent Authority Against Corruption, the implementation of the National Anti-Corruption Program, and the situation of corruption in the social welfare and labor sector. Ms. D.Dulamsuren, Head of Prevention and Public Awareness Department of IAAC said that “Starting this month, IAAC will work continuously to identify and eliminate causes and conditions of corruption in the sector, ensure implementation of anti-corruption legislation, provide methodological support and assistance in the field of implementation of the Anti-Corruption Action Plan. IAAC will organize campaigns for prevention of corruption offences in the bureaucratic and corruption prone services.” Minister Ms. A.Ariunzaya, pointed out that “We aim to become Ministry without bureaucracy that ensures transparency and accessibility while focused on the digitalization of public services. It is necessary to focus on enhancing operational coordination and databases of government organizations.”

As a result of the meeting, the Ministry will send the staff of the social welfare and labor sector in anti-corruption training courses, provide information to the public by establishing bulletin boards to post anti-corruption recommendations and reminders, focus on digitalization of public services, and launch an anti-corruption campaign across the sector in a specific timeframe and report its results to IAAC.
