The Investigation Department of the Independent Authority Against Corruption received 28 complaints, information 18-22 May, 2020 and investigated a total of 86 complaints and information. And of these, 3 inquiry cases were opened in connection with the complaints and information, 7 motions to close complaints and information and 1 motion to transfer complaint and information to relevant jurisdiction submitted to the Prosecutor’s office. Currently, 75 complaints and information are in action.
Last week, investigation was conducted in 499 criminal cases and of those, 11 transferred for prosecution, 12 cases closed, 3 motions submitted to the Prosecutor’s office to transfer to relevant jurisdiction and 1 case merged with other case. Currently, 472 cases are in action.
78 COMPLAINTS RELATED CONFLICT OF INTEREST INSPECTED
The Inspection and analysis department of the Independent Authority Against Corruption inspected 78 complaints and information related to corruption and conflict of interest received between 18-22 May, 2020 from citizens, legal entities and organizations.
Last week, 26 complaints and information were inspected and of these, 3 violations found and 11 without any violations. Furthermore, 8 complaints transferred to relevant jurisdiction and 2 complaints were given response. Currently, 52 complaints in action.
