REFERENCE ON DECLARATION OF INCOME AND ASSETS OF CANDIDATES SUBMITTED TO THE ELECTION GENERAL COMMITTEE

During 17-19 May, 2020, the Independent Authority Against Corruption registered and received declaration of income and assets of candidates for the 2020 Parliamentary election.

In accordance with article 32.5 of the Parliamentary election law, reference of declaration of income and assets of all candidates was submitted to the Election general committee on 20 May, 2020.

Based on the candidate information provided by the Election general committee, the declaration system https://meduuleg.iaac.mn/ registered a total of 698 candidates from 13 parties, 4 union and independent candidates and of these, 647 candidates or 92.6 percent registered submitted and confirmed their declaration of income and assets and 51 candidates did not submit nor register their declaration.

The Authority drafted and published handbook, brochures and detailed video instructions on how and what to consider when submitting the declaration of income and assets online on its website www.iaac.mn at the same time giving methodical information.

In accordance with the Parliamentary election law, the Independent Authority Against Corruption will place the declaration of income and assets of candidates on its website and citizens and the public can enter and review the income and assets status those candidates.
