The Investigation Department of IAAC, during the period starting from April 6 to April 10 of 2020, received 23 and investigated 83 complaints of criminal nature respectively. Out of which, the criminal cases have been opened on 7 complaints and further 7 complaints were deemed as insufficient to open criminal cases and submitted to the prosecution office with due proposal.
Currently, 69 complaints of criminal nature have been investigated by the Department.
Furthermore, a total of 532 criminal cases were being investigated, out of which 12 and 1 criminal cases were submitted to the prosecution office with proposals to refuse to open criminal case and transfer to other investigation service respectively. Another 4 criminal cases were transferred to the prosecution office for court hearing. As of this writing, a total 514 criminal cases are under investigation by the Department.
