From June 15 to 19, 2020, the Investigation Department received 13 criminal complaints and information and investigated a total of 79 complaints and information. 16 complaints and information were referred to prosecutors, and 14 complaints and information were referred to prosecutors with a proposal to refuse to open an inquiry case. Currently, 49 complaints and information are being investigated.
Of the 498 criminal cases investigated last week, 12 have been referred to court, 23 have been closed, three have been referred to prosecutors, and 13 have been consolidated. Currently, 457 cases are under investigation.
"The Asian Development Bank-funded project" TA: 9662-MON: Technical Assistance to Strengthen the Anti-Corruption System" is being implemented by the Independent Authority Against Corruption, the Prosecutor General's Office and the General Judicial Council.
Within the framework of the project, recommendations are being made to improve the laws and regulations related to resolving corruption cases, and a vacancy is being announced for the position of a National legal advisor to work on draft laws and regulations.

The Inspection and Analysis Department verified 47 complaints and information related to corruption and conflict of interest of public officials submitted by citizens, business entities and organizations on June 15-19, 2020.
Last week, 15 complaints and information were reviewed, of which 4 were found to be in conflict and 7 were in no conflict of interest. In addition, 4 complaints were transferred according to jurisdiction. There are currently 32 complaints under investigation.
From June 22 to 26, 2020, the Investigation Department received 19 criminal complaints and investigated a total of 68 complaints. 12 complaints were referred to prosecutors, and 14 complaints were referred to prosecutors with a proposal to refuse to open an inquiry case. Currently, 42 complaints and information are being investigated.
Out of the 484 criminal cases investigated last week, 18 were referred to court, 25 were closed, seven were referred to prosecutors, and one was consolidated. Currently, 433 cases are under investigation.
