Article 21.2: False Testimony

  1. If a witness or victim intentionally provides false testimony after affirming to give truthful statements during investigative proceedings or in court, they may face:

    • Fines: Equivalent to 450-5,400 monetary units.
    • Community Service: 240-720 hours.
    • Restriction of Movement: 1 month to 1 year.
    • Deprivation of Rights: 3 months to 2 years.
  2. If a witness or victim intentionally provides false testimony or falsely accuses someone of committing a crime during investigative proceedings or in court, they may face:

    • Fines: Equivalent to 5,400-27,000 monetary units.
    • Restriction of Movement: 1-5 years.
    • Imprisonment: 1-5 years.
