Advanced training held online with the stolen asset recovery initiative
On 21-30 April 2020, specialists Naijil Mark Bartlet and Johnaton Pao Benton from the partnership of the United Nations organization on drugs and crime and the World Bank Stolen asset recovery initiative organized a training for those investigators who completed the basic training on financial investigation.
With aims to prevent the global spread of the Covid-19, the Independent Authority Against Corruption and the Stolen assets recovery initiative held an online training with no more than 6 participants. The training will be divided three sub-training and 18 investigators will participate.
The Independent Authority Against Corruption signed a MOU with the World Bank in 2010 and since 2015, the Stolen assets recovery initiative has continuously organized basic and advanced trainings on financial investigation.
