About 1,500 members of Citizens’ Representatives’ Meetings participated in corruption prevention online training
The Prevention and Public Awareness Department of Independent Authority against Corruption organized an anti-corruption training for members of the province, the capital city, soum, and district Citizens' Representatives' Meetings on March 22-26, 2021. The training purpose is to implement the National Anti-Corruption Program and to prevent corruption by educating public officials and empowering capacity building.
The training was attended by about 1,500 representatives from 9 districts of the capital city, Arkhangai, Bayan-Ulgii, Bulgan, Gobi-Altai, Govisumber, Darkhan-Uul, Dornod, Zavkhan, Orkhon, Dornogovi, Umnugovi, Tuv, and Selenge provinces.
The course covered topics such as “Causes and Consequences of Corruption”, “Responsibilities of Public Officials in Preventing Corruption”, and “Corruption Crimes - New Regulations” which provided legal explanation and methodological advice on corruption prevention for Citizens' representatives.
The training will continue till April and will involve representatives of all priovinces.
