Study on Corruption in the Business Environment – 2025

This research study was conducted in accordance with Section 4.1.3.4 of the Action Plan for the Implementation of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy. Within the framework of this initiative, the survey targeted business entities was carried out to assess the prevalence, forms, and level of corruption based on their own perceptions; to identify the key causes, as well as the most affected sectors and institutions; to evaluate the costs of corruption and its impact on fair competition; and to determine future policy needs for anti-corruption efforts, including the views and attitudes of the business community.

 

Study on Public Perception and Knowledge of corruption – 2025

This research was conducted in accordance with  Section 3.3.1.6 of the Action Plan for the Implementation of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy. Its objective is to assess citizens’ knowledge, perceptions, and attitudes toward corruption, as well as to determine its level, forms, and trends based on their experiences and perceptions.

 

Study on Corruption in Public Procurement (2020-2023) – 2024

The objective of this study is to provide a comparative analysis of public procurement processes conducted by government organizations between years 2020 and 2023 under the Law on Procurement of Goods, Works and Services with State and Local Property Funds.

 

Study on Gender Dynamics in Corruption: Exploring Relationships and Impacts – 2024

This study examines the extent, forms, underlying causes and conditions, risks, and consequences of corruption; analyzes the relationship between corruption and gender; and identifies gender-specific patterns in corrupt practices.

 

Dynamic Model of Mongolia’s Corruption Perception Index – 2022

This study measures the extent of corruption, the Corruption Perceptions Index, and both the visible and hidden impacts on the detection of corruption-related offences. It further aimes to identify the relationships among these factors and to develop a computer-based simulation model capable of comprehensively representing them.

 

Study on the Effectiveness of Public Awareness Activities Conducted by the IAAC – 2022

This study was conducted to assess how the public evaluates the effectiveness and significance of public outreach and awareness-raising activities organized by the IAAC, and to develop conclusions and recommendations aimed for improving further activities.

 

Analysis of the Legal Framework Related to Corruption Prevention, Awareness-Raising, and Anti-Corruption Activities Framework – 2022

The objective of this study is to determine whether the current legal framework of Mongolia effectively regulates anti-corruption efforts, and identifies impacts of such legislation on society. It further examines whether the legal framework complies with the principles of good governance, including the rule of law, transparency, and accountability while addressing emerging national and international challenges. The study was conducted in accordance with Sections 3.2.2 and 3.2.3 of Article 3 of the “Methodology for Evaluating the Consequences of the Implementation of Legislation” approved by Government Resolution No. 59 of 2016.

 

Study on the Perceptions and Attitudes Toward  Corruption Among Low-Income Households in Ulaanbaatar - 2021

The objective of this study is to determine the perceptions and attitudes toward corruption among low-income households in Ulaanbaatar living below the subsistence level. The research also analyzes their psychological characteristics and social context, with the aim of providing relevant information for anti-corruption policy-making institutions.

 

Comparative Study of Sentencing for Corruption Crimes in Foreign Countries – 2021

This study provides a comparative analysis of the criminal, anti-corruption, and related laws and legislation of 34 countries to examine whether there is a correlation between the types and severity of penalties imposed for corruption offences and the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI).

 

Study on Perceptions of Corruption Among Persons with Disabilities – 2018-2019

This study assesses perceptions of corruption among persons with disabilities, their attitudes toward corruption, and the risks they face in relation to it, with the objective of developing recommendations to strengthen anti-corruption efforts and reduce corruption.

 

Study on Ethics in the Higher Education Sector – 2019

This research evaluates the ethical environment in the higher education sector, focusing on institutions that train professionals such as teachers, doctors, and police officers – individuals who interact with the public on a daily basis and frequently encounter ethical issues.
